The Art of Being
Embrace Mindful Walking and Mindful Breathing. The Art of Being leads you through an experiential form of Mindfulness that you can use in your daily practice. This is a walking group that leaves from Lelem’ Cultural Arts in Fort Langley.
- we begin with 5 minutes mindful breathing while
- we connect fully into our bodies
- and we begin walking, slowly and with gentle presence to the now moment
Meditation relieves stress, decreases pain, lowers blood pressure, assists with emotional healing, relieves depression, improves circulation, and strengthens our immune system.

This 60 minute class involves three components, artfully woven together, creating a “moment” of Peace. The three components are Progressive Muscle Relaxation, (PMR), Visualization, and Mindful Breathing.
